Wedge-Ease

I received a different product than what I ordered. The packing slip correctly said Wedge Ease and the product in it was Ergo Curve. I ordered a second item too but it’s not there. All phone numbers listed do not work.

Really helps with my Piriformis Syndrome, I can sit without pain!

I had an older wedge from Relax the Back that I bought 10 years ago to use in my car with bucket seats. Recently noticed that it was completely flattened, so I ordered a new one. It does make me sit higher in my car. I like it. It prevents back pain from bucket seats.

My wife has used several different models in the past to mitigate back pain, but she finds this one to be her favorite. Really makes a difference!

Has a very durably stitched handle you can't see in the picture that makes it easy to carry. I have bought several of these and I use them also for traveling--they fit on the standard airplane seat. I use a D ring on my shoulder-bag carry-on to attach the handle so I can still have hands free when walking through airport. The whole thing is very well made, the cover stands up to machine washing no problem, and if you're like me you'll forget it and leave it behind before it wears out.

This cushion is invaluable. I have a lower back -hip problem that makes it hard for me to sit in a car or fly on a plane for long periods of time. I first bought this cushion years ago, and it has truly alleviated my pain to a large extent (I still have to use a pain patch if the pain gets excruciating). I use this cushion everywhere I have to sit lengthily; it makes me very comfortable. It’s pitched at a 45 degree angle so that my knees are below my pelvis, which is necessary for my condition. My only suggestion is NOT to remove the cover to wash it. When I did, I couldn’t get the cushion back in. Wash it topically instead. This item is expensive, but it’s what the company charges. It lasts for years, but I recommend getting more than one at this price because over decades it’s about 80% more expensive than it used to be. I keep one in my car and one at home. I very highly recommend this cushion for people with hip or back problems.

Compared to other products from this company it is stiffer in the leg area. Otherwise it works fine with my office chair.

Over the years my posture has really struggled to retain a good performance position. Part of this is due to age, but part is also due to the rounded shoulder posture we must use in order to perform well. The violin sits on top of the shoulder which is brought forward in order to widen the clavicle for the violin to sit on. Many people believe that we use our hand to hold the instrument, but that is not true. The instrument is held entirely by the head (the jaw) and the shoulder. The chairs we use are Performance chairs and they are built to support this posture. I have found that as I've gotten older, my "performance posture" tends to remain, even if I've stopped playing for the day. While it does not bother me when playing violin, it really bothers me otherwise. The Wedge Cushion is being used by several other musicians in our orchestra, from cellists on up. That's where I first tried the Wedge and quickly discovered that it not only corrected my posture, but my pain immediately stopped. I came home that night and ordered one for myself. Now I use it all the time. It's truly been a life changing experience for me. I've even seen our woodwind and brass performers use them. Since we all sit when we're performing, our legs and feet frequently suffer from edema-after using the Wedge, no edema issues at all and it's really easy to stand without having to use your hands to help you get up. 5 Stars all the way around!

This cushion does an excellent job of providing relief of pain in the coccyx area. I would highly recommend it.

Love my original Sacroease wedge - it has been incredible, but it's a decade old now so I wanted to get a new one. Unfortunately, the new style of Wedge-Ease is a lower wedge and the material being used is much spongier so you sink into it too far. If you 're using it for a car or a sofa, where often neither are ergonomic; then a great wedge makes all the difference. Sadly, this isn't! Also it is harder when you start a cold car, and softens as the car gets warm; so you have to adjust your mirror.

The only complaint I have is that they are not available at the Better Back Stores. I have one of these wedges in both of my cars. I have a short torso, so needed it specifically to raise up by body into a safe driving position, but I have found that they are incredibly comfortable and reduce fatigue. My original wedge has not compressed or shown any sign of wear after three years. I highly recommend this product.

I LOVE this cushion. I've tried many and this one is perfect for my lower back issues. So comfortable! Please make an antique white version!

The cushion did exactly what I had hoped for. It put my body back in alignment in a way that the spasms could relax and the pain could be relieved. I was dubious at first because the cushion was not what I thought I ordered which was my old relax the back remedy of 20 years ago. My what an improvement this is period. Highly recommend this small cushion which does a big job.

This cushion has great support! I use this mostly in chairs that have angled seats. This cushion levels out the seat to give me a sturdy yet comfortable flat seat.

I got this upon recommendation from my physical therapist to try to make sitting in the car for long periods of time more comfortable on my lower back injury. It does the trick! It manages to provide a great balance of firm support, yet softness for comfort over several hours. Highly recommend.

I have used McCarty’s Sacro-ease for approximately 5-6 years. They work if you have sciatica problems Ali g with low back pain. They occasionally have to be replaced but they are well worth the money.I use mine while I needlepoint, sit at the beach, go to the theatre, or even some restaurants. I need it and I use it. Also great for long car trips and on airplanes.It is important that when you get the cushion, you unzip the cover and remove the foam section at the rear. This allows the spine to “float” on the cushion. Hense, no pain.Have recommended to many friends.
